Woodhull Medical Center

NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull Medical Center is in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. The building was designed by Kallmann & McKinnell in 1960s. Akcel Systems provided Johnson Controls Energy Management System for this Hospital. Project includes controls retrofit of +60 Air handling units, Heating Hot Water Systems, Operating Rooms Controls, Critical Rooms Pressurization controls, Zone Control, Pharmacy Control using USP800 guidelines, etc. We have implemented conservation measures to reduce energy consumption of the facility. These measures include but not limited to air distribution system optimization with the use of VFDs, energy optimization with water and air side economizer, tailored improvements with the use of historical data, etc.
